One of our younger fans asked why we don’t have a shark mascot and we couldn’t think of a good answer, plus we didn’t think he wanted to hear that we saw “Jaws” atthe theater on Eielson in the 70’s and it gave usnightmares. So we started working on oneand to us if you’re going to tackle an Alaskan shark Salmon Sharks were the only choice. An apex predator, SalmonSharks are a species of mackerel shark foundin the North Pacific Ocean.
